Cox's Bazar is where Bangladesh goes to breathe. Beyond the crowded main strip at Laboni, the beach runs south through Himchari and Inani toward Teknaf, growing quieter with every kilometre. Go in winter for clear light and calm water; go at dawn for the fishing boats coming in.
